Understanding Trip.com links

Understand commercial links and the limits of partner searches.

Online booking offers and conditions must be checked with the partner.

A room for your travelling party

Write down the number of adults and each child’s age before choosing accommodation. Confirm permitted occupancy, the beds provided and whether sharing an existing bed is allowed.

Facilities worth checking

Cooking and washing clothes affect how a family trip works. A private kitchen, a shared cooking area and a kettle serve different purposes.

The cost of the stay

Add room nights, mandatory taxes and the extras you actually want. An advertised reduction does not prove that the final cost is lower than another room’s.

Location and daily journeys

Connect the property with the places on your itinerary. Transfers, the correct station exit and luggage can matter as much as a stated distance.

Before confirming a booking

Read payment deadlines, cancellation rules and guest requirements. Booking services manage their own offers; this guide does not hold live room inventory.

Confirm beds and permitted occupancy.

Compare included facilities with paid extras.

Check the offer for your actual travel dates.

What a commercial link does

A link labelled as an affiliate link takes you to Trip.com. If programme conditions are met, an attributed booking may earn JapanHotelGo a commission. A click confirms neither availability nor a commission.

The search form

The search page offers the official Trip.com form in English or French. Once you choose to load it, enter the destination, arrival, departure, rooms, adults, children and their ages. Trip.com handles the search; the form does not automatically inherit a guide’s city or accommodation category.

Destination offers

Verified local links open Tokyo, Kyoto, Osaka, Hiroshima, Fukuoka or Sapporo. They do not transmit a category filter, dates or guests. Taito does not yet have a verified local link. The general link opens the hotel service without setting a destination.

Clearly identified commercial panels

Destination panels and commercial blocks within guides use explicit links. Paragraphs, sources and FAQs remain reading content and do not trigger a search.

If the form does not work

Some browsers or blockers may hide the form or prevent the results from opening. Use the link to open the form in a separate tab, where you can enter the same criteria.

Compare before booking

This site compares documented facilities rather than live prices. A property description does not establish that it is listed by the partner. Confirm the hotel name, room, guests, total price, payment and cancellation rules on Trip.com.
